Review: Looking for Trouble, by Erin Kern

Avery Price grew up the daughter of an uber rich publishing mogul in an over-bearing family. When she walks away from an arranged marriage to seek out her own life, she finds herself in Trouble, Wyoming. Noah McDermott is a successful business owner just trying to get his family to understand he has his own dreams. But when these two collide--literally--they may just find themselves with everything they always thought they never wanted.

The plot was solid. The conflict was solid. The timing was solid. The setting and dialog and attention for detail was outstanding. But for some reason, I just couldn't get invested in these characters. At first, Avery was flighty and at times a little vapid. Noah just fell a little too fast. I wanted to slap both families. I did enjoy the little snippets of Avery's brother's story with Avery's best friend. I wouldn't hesitate to buy more of her books, however.
