Review: The Officer Breaks the Rules, by Jeanette Murray

Madison has always known what she wanted. She joined the Navy, became a nurse, and enjoys her career. But Jeremy Phillips still alludes her. It seems the one man she wants is determined to stick to his rule: Never date your best friend's sister. Try, try as he might, though, Madison is getting under his skin. In the game of love, sometimes you have to break the rules.

To be completely honest, at first I thought Madison to be a tad immature and very manipulative. It didn't take long for me to change my mind and she grew on me. Jeremy was hot and lovable from the start, and I enjoyed watching these two go back and forth. I loved the resolution of Jeremy's "Daddy Issues" and the way the conflict resolved. It felt very realistic, and still everyone got what they wanted. Great setting and secondary characters too. Recommended.
