When Tommy Tomato moves in, there is a flow of warm air that circulates inside the refrigerator. The new condiment thinks he is hot stuff because his bottle is fancier than the round one that the yellow mustard bottle inhabits. One day, the vegetable gang from the crisper drawer gets together with the gang from the fruit department and discusses how they will bring Tommy down.
EXCERPT:
Summertime came around. Everyone is preparing for a local picnic. The table is set up and the kids are antsy because they haven't eaten yet. After the kids have eaten, the veggies and fruits notice that Tommy isn't quite half full. Tommy is in trouble.
"I believe Tommy can be one of us, so we will not desert him," the head of the tomato department stated in a hurried voice.
Everyone nodded in agreement.While the cheeses and veggies are talking rather hastily to each other, they forget to keep an eye on Tommy whose bottle is now missing from the table.
